FluidReview

Welcome to the online application process for Edmonton Arts Council grants and awards.

This process is hosted and managed through the Canadian company Fluid Review.

Before being able to apply online, you must create an account and sign in to the Fluid Review system.

Grant programs open for new applications around one month before the deadline. To contact the grants team, call 780-424-2787 or email grants@edmontonarts.ca.

We have made some changes to the EAC logo. Please review the new style guide and use the new logo on any materials promoting your EAC funded project, festival, or organization. You can download all versions of the logo for print and web use here. Please update any current materials, such as websites, with the new logo.

COMMUNITY Arts Program Grant

Applications for the Community Arts Program Grant will open on April 1, 2020 for the May 1, 2020 deadline.

ARTIST-INITIATED PUBLIC ART PROJECT GRANT

THE EDMONTON ARTISTS' TRUST FUND (EATF)
Edmonton Artist Trust Fund Award nominations open on August 1, 2019 for the September 3, 2019 deadline. Hard copies of nomination letters must be received by mail or in person at the EAC office by 4:30 pm MST on September 3, 2019.

ARTIST PROJECT GRANTS
Applications for Artist Project Grants (small) will open on August 15, 2019 for the September 17, 2019 deadline.

CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS PROJECT GRANT
Applications will open in September 2019 for the October 15, 2019 deadline.

Grants for ARTS and FESTIVAL ORGANIZATIONS


ARTS BUILDING OPERATING GRANT
Applications for the Arts Building Operating Grant program will open on May 1, 2020 for the June 1, 2020 deadline.

CELEBRATION GRANT FOR ONE DAY EVENTS
Applications for the Celebrations Grant for One Day Events are due on March 1, 2020. The online application will open at least a month before the deadline.

CONNECTIONS & EXCHANGES INITIATIVE GRANT
Applications for the First Stage are due on August 1, 2019.

If requested by the Edmonton Arts Council, applications for the Second Stage are due on October 1, 2019.

FESTIVAL OPERATING GRANT
The EAC is currently reviewing the complement of granting programs for the 2021 funding cycle as a result of Connections & Exchanges. In recognition of this process, the granting process will be simplified for the 2020 funding cycles, with adjustments to some deadlines and the implementation of a significantly streamlined granting process.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Only Edmonton based non-profit organizations and artists resident in the City of Edmonton are eligible to apply. Please review the complete guidelines before applying.
 
Grants are allocated based on recommendations from peer assessment committees who provide their valuable expertise to the Edmonton Arts Council in exchange for a small honorarium.
